What we do
EU Manuals reviews product manuals against the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. You upload a DOCX manual; we analyse it against the instruction requirements of Annex I §1.7.4.2, score it, and flag every compliance gap as critical or standard with the clause it relates to. If you want the gaps fixed, our AI rewrites the missing sections and hands back a finished Word document — and, optionally, translations into any of the 24 official EU languages.
Why it exists
Technical documentation is one of the most common reasons a technical file bounces back in review. The requirements are detailed, the standards are dense, and a gap is easy to miss. We built EU Manuals to make that check fast and unambiguous: a free scan tells you where your manual stands before you commit to anything, and every finding cites the source requirement so your reviewers can verify it.
Who operates it
EU Manuals is operated by OÜ EU Manuals, a company registered in Estonia (registration number 17563173, VAT EE103011909), with its registered office at Soo, Pärivere küla, Tori vald, Pärnu maakond, 87309, Estonia. The service runs on EU-based infrastructure, and uploaded documents are automatically deleted 30 days after a run completes.
