Welcome to EU Manuals Review (the "Service"), operated by OÜ EU Manuals, a company registered in Estonia with registration number 17563173 and registered office at Soo, Pärivere küla, Tori vald, Pärnu maakond, 87309.
These Terms govern your use of the Service available at www.eu-manuals.eu. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Service is offered to businesses only, not to consumers.
Service Description
The Service allows users to upload product manuals and receive automated analyses of their compliance with the 22 instruction requirements of the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Annex I §1.7.4.2 (points (a) to (v)).
If you order them, the Service also writes a corrected manual from your manual, your answers and any files you add, and translates it into the official EU languages you choose.
The analysis is generated using AI technology and internal evaluation structures. It is intended for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal or compliance advice.
We make no guarantee that any report, recommendation, corrected manual or translation produced by the Service is error-free, or that it ensures or certifies regulatory compliance.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide only lawful, non-confidential materials for analysis.
- Refrain from uploading content that infringes third-party rights. Do not upload personal data that is not needed for the review.
- Use the results responsibly and verify them independently before relying on them.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, its code, design, and content remain with us or our licensors. The corrected manual and any translations we deliver to you belong to you: you may use, change and distribute them, including with your machinery. You remain responsible for the instructions you supply with your machinery, so check the corrected manual and any translations before you use or distribute them. You allow us to use what you upload, and the files we produce for you, only to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy. Other generated reports, such as the gap report, may be downloaded for your internal use but may not be resold or redistributed without prior written permission.
Payments and Refunds
The free compliance review costs nothing. The corrected manual and optional translations are one-off purchases paid through our payment provider Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay; VAT is added where it applies. We may sometimes offer discounts. A discount covers only what the offer says it covers, and we may withdraw it at any time before you order. By placing an order you ask us to start producing the manual immediately.
Because the corrected manual is produced and delivered digitally, we do not normally refund an order once the manual has been generated. If something went wrong with your order, use “Ask for a refund” in the app or write to support@eu-manuals.eu — we look at every request.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for:
- Any loss or damage arising from reliance on the Service's automated analysis, corrected manuals or translations, or
- Any indirect or consequential damages.
Availability and Modifications
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to amend these Terms, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any such changes.
